My role in this project was to design and code an email template into the Content Management System. This developed my skills in HMTL, CSS and online marketing.
This also greatly tested my patience. I found out that email templates can be quick stressful work, and can get to the point where you want to rip your hair out! Having to test for so many email applications is really hard work, its hard because this just don’t act the way you want them too the same in every application. they all read the data differently, and that’s what makes email templates a real good learning too for refining HTML and CSS coding.

This project was for a real client, I was told I had to create a Flash animation for an advert, advertising a free trail offer the company had running. I created the continuous animation in Flash using ActionScript 2.0. I designed everything in Photoshop.
I really like this project, I believe I met the clients expectations with this advert, and it is a good feeling having this displayed on someone's website. I spent a bit of time on the design of this waveform; I wanted to get it seamless. I utilised my knowledge of flash learnt in class, and extended it to meet client needs.

This project was for a real client. I had to create a Flash Map application, where the user could navigate to different maps in Hamilton, and view details on the location of the selected Theatre. This project developed my Flash Skills, JavaScript skills, and image optimisation skills.
This project was one of the highlights for me. Using frame based animation and some simple ActionScript I created the map like effect with multiple animations running on the same frame number. I did however get this file from another animation similar, and I modified the code to suit my purposes. It was a valuable coding experience; I believe it was good practise and can only lead on to bigger and better things.

This project was also for a real client; I had to create a flash slideshow to display pictures of a house that is for sale. The skills I developed in this were Flash and JavaScript.
This images slideshow greatly increased my knowledge in implementing flash on the web, and having to deal with file size restrictions and image quality of the output .swf file. I had to use a pre-loader in the design, as this was the indication that there is an image loading (for slower machines). Over all am happy with the code and does what it should.

This project was for a real client, my role in this project was to clean up the rotating image using Photoshop. I had to use various development skills to get the image to appear right, as when we got the image, it was set-up for printing purposes, not to be displayed over the Internet medium.
I found this project a good learning experience in what not to do. I had to re touch the graphic, and the image was given to us in a print set-up, so the colours and image quality was all messed up. This project took a lot of patience to deal with, and I learnt a lot about handling images with programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design. I do fell however that the final product is revolving to slow, it is a good piece of flash work on the web.

This project was for a real client, my role in this project was to re-create this site into the CMS (Content Management System). I had to copy the original site's content, and place it into te new site, with the same content. This developed my HTML, ASP.NET and CSS skills, as well as learning the CMS system used as i had to help get everything acting the way it originally was.
This project has not yet gone live; I do however like the different approach the site has with an interactive web banner. I like the idea of having user interaction in a site. The project ran smoothly.

This project was to design and create a website for a prospectus client. I had to use Adobe Photoshop to create the visual style of the site, then code the site in Dreamweaver. This site introduced me to working with the Content Management System, ASP.NET, JavaScript and built on my knowledge of HTML and CSS.
My personal response to this work is very critical. I do not believe I achieved a very good-looking site, it has the functionality of a good website but I think that I rushed the design phase of this project. This was my first project at Digital Stream and at the time I thought the website was good, but in retrospect I believe now I could have done a much better job.
